It was founded in 1945 as Guanzon Hardware and Bicycle Supply as specialty store selling horsecart (kalesa) spare parts. Since this modest beginning, it has grown into two (2) companies namely Guanzon Merchandising Corporation (1983) and LGK Guanzon Incorporated (1990).
